Abstract
The progress of the internet not only has an impact on the development of information and communication technology facilities, but the progress of the internet can also advance a person's income level in the economic field. Moreover, nowadays humans are more dominant in practical matters in carrying out their survival. One of them is in the field of buying and selling. Buying and selling online is a buying and selling transaction between sellers and users via the internet, so that buyers no longer need to come to the store to make purchases. As long as there is internet, now almost everything can be purchased through online buying and selling media.
However, from this convenience, there are several parties who use the internet to commit fraud for personal gain, one of which is fraud in terms of buying and selling online. People who are not careful in shopping can become victims of fraud, because it is quite difficult to recognize whether the transaction opponent is a fraud or not.
Related to this problem, it is necessary to have information sharing media that can ensure that the transaction opponent is a fraud or not. The way to be sure is to check the account number by inputting the type of bank and account number, then checking. After that the system will display the status of the account number whether it has been reported or not on the system.
The system development method used by the author is a prototype. In this method there are several stages carried out in system development, including: gathering requirements, system design, evaluation and maintenance. In the development stage the system uses backend PHP frontend , a Framework using Codeigniter, a library using jQuery, and a database using MySQL.
The result of building this system is to reduce the level of online fraud that occurs. The public can obtain information from this system and can make a decision whether to continue the payment process with the counterparty or not.
